Visual Narrative

Using dual volumes and vertical light wells to bring in natural light and views, together with local Hokkaido materials, the design shapes a warm guesthouse that responds to the four seasons.

The overall layout responds to site views and climatic conditions. Through articulated massing, layered vertical voids, and controlled openings, a clear spatial order is established while enhancing the efficiency of daylight access and visual connection to the surrounding landscape.
